Did I really do that much this weekend…. WOW….
What a crazy long weekend…Let me explain my weekend…
First, my weekend started on Thursday night as I had Friday off. I didn’t even have to use one of my regular days off from work. I got a free day off for getting Employee of the Month in my workgroup this month. I figured this weekend would be a good time to take it since it’d give me a 4-day weekend. And what a weekend it was…
So let’s do a timeline of my weekend…
Thursday
8p-10:45p: Texas de Brazil for Chad's bachelor party. Gave him an assortment of underwear. Got told a few of us should go into business. Safari themed...hmm... Had my phone get water spilled on it. All jacked up but TdB was awesome in their service. Accidents happen.
10:45p-12a: Got home. Talked with roommate and friend. Got ready for bed. Asleep.
Friday
10:45a-11:45a: Woke up. Stretched and yawned. Ate breakfast. Got ready.
11:45a-5:30p: at church helping prep for Chad and Sonja's wedding. Hung 14 sections of curtains. Hung paper lanterns around the Kids Life room. Cleaned up everything. Ate lunch.
5:30p-6p: Went to the Blanchards house to shower and get ready for rehearsal.
6p-8p: Chad and Sonja's wedding rehearsal. Didn't have to do too much. Sat back and watched. Drove to the rehearsal dinner at Majestic Grille.
8p-11p: Dinner. Got a sweet pocket knife. Salmon+salad+veggies+bread+potatoes+dessert= :)ing Nate. Great table and conversation too.
11p-12a: Drove home. Asleep
Saturday
7a-8:30a: Woke up. Ate breakfast. Called Penske. Drove to Penske.
8:15-9:45a: at Penske waiting for the truck.
9:45a-10:15a: Loaded Collierville up in the truck.
10:15a-11:20a: Picking up around the church, making sure everything was good to go. EXCELLENCE PEOPLE!!!!!
11:20a-11:40a: Shower at Blanchards. Dressed in a tuxedo=STUD! :P
11:40a-12:40p: Pictures and fun.
12:40p-2p: Wedding. Nate=Usher. Awesome time to see my good friends getting married. What a wonderful event!
2p-3p: Reception. Breaking curtains down in auditorium. Getting stage ready for practice.
3p-3:15p: Saw Chad and Sonja leave in a BMW 745i as a MARRIED couple.
3:15p-4p: Got everything else ready in the church. Took curtains down. Moved tables. Absolute crazyness.
4p-4:20p: Showered at Blanchards. Back to church for 5p service.
4:20p-6:30p: Prepping for service. Awesome Service. PDan brought it!
6:30p-7:30p: Chilled. Tried to fix my Blackberry. Frustrated. Changed for Cville setup.
7:30p-10p: Drove truck to YMCA. Setup YMCA. Thanks DR! I was sweating like a pregnant nun :o
10p-11:30p: Drove home. Drank 32oz gatorade. Shower. Asleep.
Sunday
6a-6:45a: Woke up. Breakfast. Get ready. Drive to church.
6:45a-7:30a: Getting stuff ready for church. Ride to YMCA.
7:30a-10a: Putting final touches on setup. Cleaning up. Checking everything over TWICE.
10a-11:50a: Service. Video of Saturday night's message. Great again. I LOVE MY CHURCH!
11:50a-1p: Tore Cville YMCA down. Looks like we weren't even there. HOT outside.
1p-2p: Drove back to Cordova Campus. Unloaded Cville carts. Sweat!
2p-4:30p: Chilled for a few. Talked Hurricane Relief. Lunch at Newks. Took truck back to Penske. Went home.
4:30p-6p: Slept for 1.5 hours. Got ready. Back to church for Hurricane Relief meeting.
6p-1a: Hurricane Relief meeting. Got supplies. Put 37' long banner up at church. BEAST! Got hogtied by a youth at midnight. Drove home.
Monday
9:30a-10:15a: Got up. Breakfast. Got ready. Drove to church.
10:15a-3:30p: Got ready for Hurricane Evacuee lunch. Greeted Hurricane Evacuee folks. Talked strategy. Ate lunch. Hung out.
3:30p-7p: Helped move some stuff for my pastor. Installed a light, toilet paper holder, towel rack. Ate Russo's pizza. So YUM!
7p-8p: Drove back to church. Hung out.
8p-9:20p: Drove home. Talked with roommate. Started to watch The Great Debaters. Asleep.
Probably one of my most busiest 4 day stretches EVER! I did sleep for 10.5 hours last night though. That was sweet.
